The Tools 1/2

For the tagging we used the Trigrams 'n 'Tags (TnT) Statistical Part of Speech Tagger made by Thorsten Brants (Universität des Saarlandes)
It achieves an accuracy of
- 96,7 % on the Penn Treebank
- 85,1 % - 90.5 % on our spoken material
Accuracy is a bit worse for (n > 1)-grams
- 2-grams 74 %, 3-grams 65 %, 4-grams 58 %...
